There was a festive atmosphere last month as everyone arrived for the Christmas social and competitions . The usual preparations were taking place with members bringing food and handing in their entries. Members and guests mingled and chatted over coffee before the meeting got underway.
Maggie Wright gave out the notices etc then Peter Castle ran through the competition classes and procedures before judging began. There was also a quiz for members to do during the morning. At lunchtime there was an abundance of appetising food for everyone to feast on before settling down to enjoy the afternoon entertainment.
