As usual, January saw our year begin with the AGM and critique.The formal proceedings included the Chairman’s report followed by those of the other committee members. The committee do a tremendous amount of work throughout the year on your behalf and deserve a big thank you.
There were various matters arising, including membership fees and the summer competition.It was decided that subscriptions should rise to £60.00 per annum as costs have gone up. This is still extremely good value, especially as members do not pay extra for professional demonstrations as is the case in many clubs.
Details of the summer competition were announced. These can be found on page three.The Whatsapp group is thriving. Please speak to Mike Gordon if you would like to join.After the conclusion of the AGM, members had coffee and set up the display for the critique.
