In November members welcomed professional turner Carlyn Lyndsay, well knownfor her laminated work.Carlyn talked a little about her background. She was fortunate to have studied woodwork at school before going to art school. She studied 3D art, working with various materials and refining laminating processes. She also worked in the cabinet and furniture making industry. She received a marketing grant from the Prince’s Trust and Wickes which enabled her to pursue her woodturning.
