October 2025 - Rick’s Demonstration Goes with a Bang

The September meeting began as usual with the notices from chairman, Maggie Wright. Maggie also told members about the stand she will have at Wizardry in Wood at the end of this month. She will be displaying plain turning and also ornamental turning. The latter is done on dedicated ornamental lathes which have to be set up with great accuracy to achieve the desired result. This is a complex process but produces some lovely work.
