March 2024 - Going for a Spin

The February meeting was a hands on event led by Pete Hawes. The goal was to turn the top with the longest spin time. After the notices, Pete gave a demonstration showing how he turns the basic spinning tops. As well as these, Pete had some examples of his other styles including the handled top and spinning top boxes based on the Jewish Dreidel.
