December 2025 - Five Stations Fun

A good number of members arrived for the five stations meeting in November. After the notices, which included reminders for the winter competitions and a few words about Wizardry in Wood, everyone began at a station of their choice. These were as follows, turning Christmas gonks with John Packer, finials with Mo Draper and captive rings with Mike Moon. Maggie Wright was demonstrating all aspects of finishing whilst Pete Hawes showed everyone how to replace a lathe bearing plus some general maintenance tips. Members were able to spend time on each topic, practising techniques and having their questions answered before moving on to another.
