Over recent years the trend for enhancing turned work has grown considerably. Once slightly frowned on, most demonstrators nowadays include the addition of texture and colour in the projects they show. They also present these pieces as a project for members to follow from start to finish. Last month Les Thorne came to demonstrate. Les has visited us several times before and like others has used colour and texture but this time he purposely took a very different approach.
